Bashers for Bashers
Often just called “Basher’s” for short.
A working forge and metalcraft shop in the Market Ward of Sigil. The name is cant—a reference to fighters (bashers) getting their weapons made and repaired by master craftspeople (also bashers, in the sense of those who bash metal at the forge).
Proprietor: Jedediah Stonewood
Jedediah Stonewood is a stout halfling in his late sixties, weathered and muscular from a lifetime of smithing. His iron-gray hair is worn long and pulled back. His hands are heavily scarred and calloused, one finger missing entirely. He speaks with a thick rural accent and moves with the unhurried confidence of a master craftsman.
He’s gruff and argumentative, especially with his granddaughter Mina, but it’s clear he adores her. When they fight, it’s spirited and passionate, neither willing to back down. He occasionally contracts with Damroodleboss Delimimus (Boss) to create precision tuning fork duplicates.
